900 girls gathered in Lisbon, Portugal, for the international meeting of the Schoenstatt Girls’ Youth, where several countries were present in preparation for World Youth Day (WYD).
There was an incredible turnout for the “Days in the Dioceses” that took place in Aveiro, Portugal just before World Youth Day, where thousands of young people accompanied by their bishops gathered to greet the MTA at the Schoenstatt Shrine in Aveiro in preparation for the worldwide gathering for WYD.
The International Schoenstatt Youth gathered in Lisbon in the final stretch towards WYD. The eve of the official opening of WYD was punctuated by the idea of sending forth, with the spirituality of the Covenant of Love and the graces of the Shrine.
