A new branch is founded in Brazil: Schoenstatt Deacons
When a new member is born into a family, joy overtakes everyone and enlightens their lives. In the same way, the Schoenstatt Family in Brazil experiences this joy with the establishment of a new branch in the Movement: The Apostolic League of Schoenstatt Deacons.

Ten years ago, we were preparing to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our founding as a Schoenstatt Family. On October 18, 2014, we wanted to go on pilgrimage to Schoenstatt to celebrate and renew the Covenant of Love that Father Kentenich and the first sodalists had sealed in the Shrine.

With the motto “Family in Covenant, heart for the world”, the members of the Schoenstatt Movement in Paraguay are expecting 154 couples between May 4th and 7th for the CIOF, International Congress of the Schoenstatt Family Movement.

The Men’s Rosary in Brazil is a national apostolate in which the Schoenstatt Movement participates in large numbers. Recently a national law has been passed declaring September 8th as Men’s Rosary Day. In Schoenstatt, this apostolate is known as Mother and Queen Men’s Rosary.

Registrations for the Seminar “Leading to Love” are open until May 15. It is intended for couples who are members of the Schoenstatt Family Work from all over the world. It will be held during August 2023 at the Family House of Mount Nazareth, Schoenstatt.
