Father Alexander Menningen was Father Kentenich’s closest collaborator. He accompanied him in the most difficult moments. He never doubted the great mission that the founder had for the renewal of the Church, and he participated in it with profound dedication.
Joseph Kentenich was very clear from very early on about the importance of constituting a Universal Apostolic Confederation, according to a concept proposed by St. Vincent Pallotti, in order to organize the active forces of the Church. The Movement has as its fundamental strength those values that prompted its founding: love for Mary, personal sanctification, the education of one’ s personality taking Mary as educator, and a Schoenstatt on the go.
