In view of the serious situation in Ukraine, many people and organizations are helping those living in Ukraine as well as the refugees. Among those helping are Schoenstatters, both in Schoenstatt itself, as well as in other places. We share here an account of the efforts of the Schoenstatt Fathers in Poland assisting refugees in their own home.
At the conclusion of the General Audience, Pope Francis calls on everyone to renew our closeness to our Ukrainian brothers and sisters who are suffering greatly, to help them with humanitarian aid and keep them in our hearts throughout Advent and Christmas.
Around November 23, churches and public buildings will be illuminated in red. In prayer, Christians unite with their persecuted brethren in the faith and remember the many martyrs of our day.

On Friday, November 4, Dr. Patricio Ventura-Juncá, regular member of the Pontifical Academy for Life and leader of the Schoenstatt Family Federation, will receive from the Faculty of Bioethics of the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum the award “A Life for Life”, for having excelled professionally and personally in defending human life from natural conception to its natural culmination. He is recognized for his academic contributions and his profound moral values both in Chile and in international circles.
Cardinal Parolin, Sr. Smerilli, and environmental protagonists partake in the global premiere of ‘The Letter’ film, which features Pope Francis, on 4 October, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, in the Vatican’s New Synod Hall. The documentary is devoted to protecting and saving our Common Home.
Pope Francis resumes his weekly Wednesday General Audience after a July break, and dedicates his catechesis to his recent Apostolic Journey to Canada, a penitential pilgrimage dedicated to embracing indigenous peoples who suffered injustices over the centuries.
