The General Secretariat of the Synod publishes the “Instrumentum laboris”, the document that will guide the work of the two-part General Assembly that will meet in Rome in October 2023 and October 2024.
Within the framework of an exhibition of religious orders and Church communities, called Monastery Market, the Sisters of Mary from Quarten, Switzerland, introduced themselves at the Zurich Central Station displaying the spirit of Schoenstatt and of the Church on the go, sharing their experiences in a spirit of unity.

Father Ignacio Camacho, a Chilean from the Secular Institute of the Schoenstatt Fathers, was appointed to this task by the Bishop of the Diocese of Trier, Monsignor Stephan Ackermann. He will be responsible for the pastoral and administrative life of Schoenstatt’s international center, its Original Shrine, for the next three years.
Monsignor Yazlovetskiy, auxiliary bishop of Kiev, states that the war did not divide the Church in Ukraine, and that they have not been able to work with the document for the Continental Stage on the Synod, but that they do live synodality in their proximity to those who suffer.
Pope Francis launched the World Synod of Bishops in October 2021 as a four-year worldwide process. As part of the continental preparatory phase, a conference organized by the Council of the Bishops’ Conferences of Europe (CCEE) was held in Prague from February 5-12.
