As an initiative of the Schoenstatt Fathers, the Pentecost Foundation was created, to ensure that the Kentenich pedagogy seal is maintained in the Schoenstatt schools. A few days after the outbreak of war in Ukraine, Kisszelmenc became one of the escape routes. The village has only a few hundred inhabitants. Overnight they found thousands of people on the streets trying to enter the European Union territory. The village came together to assist them.
