Nine young women left their home and homeland to become part of a new home. They come from six different countries, and this Saturday they will receive the dress of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary. Their wish is expressed in this phrase: “Mary, make us likenesses of your image”. It is possible to participate live in the ceremony through the Youtube channel.
90 years ago, the first group of Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary arrived in Africa. The seven pioneers brought our spirituality to the continent, opening the doors to the graces of the Mother and Queen on African soil.
“With you, Mary, on the path of our lives”. This was the motto of the first official pilgrimage of students from the Diocese of Timisoara (Romania) to Schoenstatt.
Dr. Sr. M. Elena Lugo, a member of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary, has passed away. Internationally recognized, she is a great reference for the Church and society, leaving many contributions in the field of bioethics and in apostolic life.
