The most beautiful gift for Our Lady: the altar for the Shrine
20 Schoenstatt diocesan priests and friends of the Movement gathered at the Schoenstatt Shrine in Guayaquil, Ecuador for a moment of prayer, and then had a family-like encounter with Schoenstatt Fathers and Sisters and members of the Family Movement. An experience that filled everyone’s heart.
We are grateful for the contributions made to learn about and appreciate the different traditions and styles of nativity scenes around the world.
In view of the serious situation in Ukraine, many people and organizations are helping those living in Ukraine as well as the refugees. Among those helping are Schoenstatters, both in Schoenstatt itself, as well as in other places. We share here an account of the efforts of the Schoenstatt Fathers in Poland assisting refugees in their own home.
Schoenstatt is present in Serbia, an eminently Orthodox country. Progress is slow but the Blessed Mother is well equipped to establish herself and bring the graces of her Shrine to many homes.
Burundi is a country located in the heart of Africa, near Rwanda, Tanzania and Congo and is smaller than all of them. It has very beautiful landscapes, with a nature that allows a rich agriculture and with a cheerful population, self-sacrificing and quite poor economically.
Two men from the Mother and Queen Men’s Rosary Initiative, belonging to the Archdiocese of Belém/Pa, sealed their Covenant of Love with Mary with profound happiness, love and faith on the day of the Solemnity of All Saints.
The Superior General of the Schoenstatt Fathers, Father Alexandre Awi Mello, blesses the foundation of the future house of the community in Lekki, Nigeria, a country that has given 32 Schoenstatt Fathers to the world, who are in Nigeria, Germany, England and Paraguay.
350 people gathered at the well-known Schoenstatt Center in Kahlenberg to celebrate the inauguration of the new complex. In it, the figure of Father Kentenich has a central role, because of his pedagogy, because of the creative initiatives which he inspires, and so that we can experience him as a father.
On the chilly evening of Monday, October 17, 2022 – the vigil of the celebration of the 108th anniversary of the founding of Schoenstatt – the Bishop of the Diocese of Madison, Rev. Donald Hying and the National Delegate Superior of the Schoenstatt Fathers, Fr. Mark Niehaus celebrated Mass on the grounds of the Founder Shrine in Madison, Wisconsin.
Every year, the leaders of the Schoenstatt Girls and Young Women are invited to the international Retreat Center in Waukesha, Wisconsin, for the annual Leaders’ Convention.
Under the motto “Faithful to Father’s mission”, the national leaders of Mexico gathered from September 2nd to the 4th by Querétaro’s Shrine, to listen to God’s voice with the intention of responding with a prophetic voice and commitment to Mexico’s reality, so that Schoenstatt can fulfill its mission in the country.
