More than 100 people from six countries gathered on May 6th for the Europe Day as part of “Together for Europe – Austria” held at the Schoenstatt Center in Vienna-Kahlenberg. The day, which was held on the eve of Europe Day, had as its motto “Building bridges of hope”.

The Covenant of Love teaches us to serve

The 18th of each month gives us the opportunity to renew the Covenant of Love that we sealed with Mary in the Shrine. We thus receive renewed graces and are sent out on a quest to conquer hearts.

Within the framework of an exhibition of religious orders and Church communities, called Monastery Market, the Sisters of Mary from Quarten, Switzerland, introduced themselves at the Zurich Central Station displaying the spirit of Schoenstatt and of the Church on the go, sharing their experiences in a spirit of unity.

Tabor: The first Schoenstatt Shrine in Santa Maria, Brazil, turns 75 years old

The Schoenstatt Family of Brazil celebrated joyfully the 75th anniversary of the Tabor Shrine, which is the first Schoenstatt Shrine built in the country and is located in the city of Santa Maria, in the southern region of Brazil. From April 21st to 23rd several celebrations marked the Jubilee feast days. The Tabor Shrine was the only one in Brazil inaugurated personally by the Founder, Father Joseph Kentenich, and was visited by him several times.

The International Schoenstatt Belmonte Center in Rome welcomes volunteers for short or long periods of time. At present, two young women from different countries are volunteering and are being supervised by the Rector of the Center, Father Marcello Cervi, forming the Belmonte Team.

Ten years ago, we were preparing to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our founding as a Schoenstatt Family. On October 18, 2014, we wanted to go on pilgrimage to Schoenstatt to celebrate and renew the Covenant of Love that Father Kentenich and the first sodalists had sealed in the Shrine.

September 8th: established by law as the Day of the Men’s Rosary

The Men’s Rosary in Brazil is a national apostolate in which the Schoenstatt Movement participates in large numbers. Recently a national law has been passed declaring September 8th as Men’s Rosary Day. In Schoenstatt, this apostolate is known as Mother and Queen Men’s Rosary.
