Invitation to the Leading to Love Seminar

Institute of Families of Schoenstatt

We are happy to offer you once again, after a three-year break due to the corona virus, the leadership seminar-workshop for couples “Leading to Love“, to be held at the House of the Family of Mount Nazareth – Schoenstatt, Germany, during August and September 2023, according to the following calendar:

Spanish Version: Tuesday, August 8 to Tuesday, August 15
Portuguese Version: Thursday, August 17 to Thursday, August 24
English Version: Monday, August 28 to Monday, September 4

The Seminar wants to be a concrete contribution of the Schoenstatt Family Work for the strengthening of marriage and family and its projection to the world, in the context of a Church called to deliver a message of hope and joy, based on the witness of couples deeply rooted in love and faith.

This Seminar has been greatly regarded by previous attendees. They experienced days of a profound renewal of their Covenant of Love, of their marriage and family vocation, and of their mission awareness, as well as the fatherly and prophetic closeness to our Father and Founder in every holy place of Schoenstatt.

An innovative aspect of the Seminar is the methodology used. It combines abstract aspects with experiences, attachments to historical events and places where our Father and Founder took a leap of faith for the Schoenstatt mission, and application of individual, couple and community dynamics. That is to say, it is not a matter of simply going to listen to interesting topics, but to genuinely assimilate the spirituality and pedagogy of our leader, our Father and Founder.

Participants come from different English speaking countries, which ensures international exchange. In order to be able to hold the Seminar, the minimum number of couples needed per version is ten (10) and the maximum number is fifteen (15). It is extremely important to submit your application as soon as possible.

Those interested should apply by April 30, 2023, with a recommendation from their Movement Director, addressing their request to Raúl and María Luisa Rivera from Chile at leadingtolovetraining@gmail.com or riveraallende23@gmail.com.

Seminar

Considering that this Seminar is given every year, a good way to facilitate the participation of many couples is for each community to support the family/families that will attend both in a spiritual way with your prayers, and in a monetary way, given the costs involved. In this way, we grow in family solidarity around the task that the Founder has entrusted to us as a Family Work and we are creating international ties around our Mission.

Finally, we invite you to support this initiative with your prayers and Capital of Graces, asking our MTA to make us a Family Work that carries joyful hope and the ‘Gospel of the family’ (Amoris Laetitia N ° 60) for many persons. This way, the richness that has been given to us from the Original Shrine through the Covenant of Love, can be used to build a new world based on marriage and family.
