As every year, we will join the day of prayer, “24 Hours for the Lord,” which begins on Friday, March 13. Several churches around the world will dedicate special time to prayer and praise on the fourth Sunday of Lent.
This year, the motto chosen by Pope Leo XIV is inspired by a verse from the Gospel of John: “I have come to save the world” (John 12:47).
Schoenstatt Shrines
The Schoenstatt Apostolic Movement joins this prayer chain, with the participation of several Daughter Shrines worldwide.
The Original Shrine in Schoenstatt, Germany, also participates with a special program. Part of the time will be dedicated to prayers in different languages; at other times, to silent adoration. This year’s motto will be: “Trust in the wind – believe in the storm.”
Confessions will be heard on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. in the Pilgrims’ Church and from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the confessional chapel of the Adoration Church.
The entire International Schoenstatt Family is invited to participate in this day of encounter and reconciliation with the Lord, in preparation for Easter.
Below is the proposed program for the Original Shrine. Those who are far away can also follow the moments of prayer via webcam.
