The crowning of the pilgrim image of the Mother, Queen, and Victress Thrice Admirable of Schoenstatt as “Queen Help of Families and Hope” is a milestone in the journey of faith of countless families and communities in Denmark. This special event, celebrated on June 7, 2025, in the Chapel of the Monastery of Our Lady of Aasebakken, marks the culmination of years of prayer, devotion, and community work.

A journey of devotion and hope for Schoenstatt

The preparation for this coronation was marked by 30 consecutive months of praying the Rosary as a family, which began on January 2, 2022. These prayers were held on the first Saturday of each month at the Monastery of Our Lady (Vor Frue Kloster), in reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. These gatherings not only strengthened the spiritual bonds between the participating families but also generated a deep sense of community and unity.

Blessings and emotion marked the day of the coronation, and it was also a time to reflect and give thanks. The Pilgrim Mother was sent on a mission, accompanied by the significant presence of the image of Our Lady of Aparecida, patroness of Brazil, as the group of families is made up and coordinated by a large number of Brazilian immigrants. This union of devotions reinforces the universality of the faith and Mary’s intercession in different cultures and traditions.

The role of the community

The coronation was not only a religious event, but also a celebration of the community work carried out over the years. The sharing, the prayers for one another, and the joint effort to support the mission of the Mother and Queen demonstrated the power of faith to unite people around a common purpose.

A Legacy of Hope

The coronation of Our Mother and Queen is a living reminder that faith, devotion, and community work can transform lives. For the families involved, this event represents not only the celebration of a spiritual journey but also the beginning of new missions and challenges. As we pray for the continued success of the missions and for Mary’s intercession, the coronation of our Mother and Queen remains a symbol of hope and inspiration for communities around the world. May the “Queen Help of Families and Hope” continue to guide and bless all who consecrate themselves to her devotion.
