International Communities of the Schoenstatt Movement prepare for their General Congress

Institute of Schoenstatt’s Diocesan Priests

The Institute of Schoenstatt Diocesan Priests will open the general assembly on July 31. The General Assembly is planned in two parts. The first session will last until August 17, 2022, the second session will take place in the spring of 2023.

Schoenstatt Fathers

From August 3rd to the 30th, 2022 the delegates of the Community of the Schoenstatt Fathers will meet for their General Assembly in the so-called “Father House” on Mount Sion, Vallendar.

Schoenstatt Family Federation

International communities

The General Assembly of the Schoenstatt Family Federation will take place from September 1st to the 11th, 2022. Forty-six delegates from 11 countries will gather at the Josef Kentenich Hof, the community’s “mother house” in Hillscheid. Twenty-six international volunteers will be responsible for translation, administrative services, technical services and management of the house.

Schoenstatt Mothers’ Federation

International communities

The General Congress of the Schoenstatt Mothers’ Federation will take place from September 4th to the 9th, 2022, in the Marienland Conference Center, Mount Schoenstatt, Vallendar. For the community, which was founded on September 8, 1950, on the feast of the Nativity of Mary, before Father Joseph Kentenich, the important step towards the constitution of the “International Apostolic Federation of Schoenstatt Mothers” will take place at this Assembly – also on September 8.

Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary

Finally, the General Chapter of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary will also begin on September 8, 2022. It will take place in the community’s Motherhouse on Mount Schoenstatt, Vallendar. There are still no concrete details about the planned duration.
