The Schoenstatt International Coordination and the Pilgrims’ Center in Schoenstatt are making the novena available to prepare for the Covenant of Love Day, celebrated on October 18th. With the theme “I believe, that my contributions counts,” the novena will begin on October 9 and invite the International Family to prepare their hearts to renew their commitment to love.
The program, also made available last year, highlights the life of a Schoenstatt hero at each stage. Over the nine days, words from the Schoenstatt Founding Document illuminate the journey and encourage reflection on each person’s contribution to the Movement’s mission.
The novena invites the Schoenstatt Family to unite in a common spirit of preparation across different countries, shrines, parishes, and communities. Each group or community can use this time to renew the Covenant of Love and strengthen the bonds that unite the International Family.
This year, the materials are available in German, Croatian, Spanish, English, Italian, Portuguese, and Czech, expanding the opportunity for more members of the Schoenstatt Family worldwide to participate.
