The missionaries of the Schoenstatt Pilgrim Mother Apostolate in Russia will, unfortunately, not be able to participate in the International Congress in Brazil. But even from a distance, they will be united spiritually to celebrate this moment of grace.
The coordinator, Elena Prosvetova (Елена Просветова), tells us how they will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Pilgrim Mother Apostolate and her great desire for the coming years:
In Russia, in Moscow, the celebration of the Jubilee of the Pilgrim Mother will take place on October 25. First, all those who receive the image of the Pilgrim Mother will gather to pray the Rosary. Then, on the way to the Cathedral, we will make a commemorative pilgrimage, entering the jubilee church of the Archdiocese in this Holy Year of Hope. Afterwards, we will participate in Holy Mass, presided over by Archbishop Paulo Pezzi. During Mass, we will renew the consecration of the missionaries. After Mass, there will be time for conversation.
For this event, we are also updating the formation materials that accompany the Pilgrim Mother and preparing a booklet on the life of João Pozzobon.
We dream of receiving an Auxiliary image for Russia from Brazil. Pray with us for this intention!
We ask God that, in the next Jubilee, we Russians may also be able to participate personally and represent the Schoenstatt Movement in Russia as part of the international Schoenstatt family.
We unite ourselves in prayer for them as the Schoenstatt Family, and we carry them spiritually to the International Congress.
