Today we celebrate the penultimate day of the novena towards the Covenant of Love Day. As a Family, we approach the date of Schoenstatt’s founding with a burning heart and the desire to renew our love for the MTA.
On the eighth day of the novena, we unite ourselves spiritually with the Bellavista Shrine in Santiago, Chile. Venerable Mario Hiriart Pulido, the hero we remember today, is buried there.
Mario was the first Schoenstatt Brother of Mary in Latin America, leaving a path of inspiration for holiness in lay life. Today, Fr. Gonzalo Ilanes, national director of the Movement in Chile, prays with us at Mario’s tomb.
