Women’s Federation: The Holy Spirit blew through the Nazareth Region

During the feast of Pentecost, from May 23 to 25, the Schoenstatt Women’s Federation of the Nazareth Region held its Chapter in the city of Mendoza, Argentina. The Nazareth Region brings together members from Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, the United States, Paraguay, and Puerto Rico.

The gathering brought together eleven chapter members to evaluate the present and plan for the community’s future in the Region. In the spirit of Pentecost, the gathering took place in an atmosphere of unity, dialogue, and prayer, with an invocation of the Holy Spirit.

During the sessions, the participants reviewed the regional community’s history, analyzed its growth, and defined areas of focus for the future. The central objective was to strengthen its members’ vocation and support the path toward new vocations.

Election of representatives

One of the key moments was the election of the representatives who will accompany the Regional Leader—Nancy Ojeda (Argentina)—to the International Chapter. This will take place at the Central House in Schoenstatt, Germany, from December 27 to January 7. The 2027 Chapter Delegates are: Nancy Myriam Ojeda (Argentina – Regional Leader), María Ester Cortés (Chile), Noemí Parra (Argentina), and María José Matar (Argentina).

The International Chapter is the forum for defining the Federation’s path globally. Having celebrated its 100th anniversary on December 8, 2020, the Federation seeks to strengthen its commitment to its mission and charism.

The Federation aspires, in the likeness of Mary, Mother of the Church, to be completely at the service of God in the midst of the world and to bear witness to Him in all spheres: ecclesial, professional, and social.
