Today is a day of prayer for Schoenstatt vocations

International Coordination

Whether you are driving your car, preparing lunch, taking a coffee break at work, or have a brief moment of free time, we ask for one minute of your time. The International Schoenstatt Family dedicates the first Thursday of every month to a day of prayer for Schoenstatt vocations.

On this October 2nd, you are invited to pray and ask the Lord to send us hearts on fire for the mission, and that people may be open to this call from the Father.

Let all our prayers rise to heaven, asking that many people may become part of our branches and communities of the Schoenstatt Leagues, Federations, and Institutes. May there be no shortage of members for our great apostolic projects.

You can pray at any time, at home, in your parish, in the Shrine… Give this brief moment of pause and prayer to our Mother!

To participate in the international moment of prayer, simply connect to the webcam of the Original Shrine at 8:00 p.m. (local time in Schoenstatt). This month, the prayer was prepared by the Sisters of Mary, who began their jubilee year yesterday.

We pray:

When we consider our own strength
we lose all hope and confidence.
Mother, we stretch out our hands to you
and ask for your many gifts of love.

Even in storms and dangers
you will always remain faithful
to the covenant you have sealed with us
and enriched with countless graces.

You will send us vocations
who join us in pledging themselves for your kingdom.
You will give us work and richly bless us
and unite your unlimited power to our powerlessness.

(Heavenwarts, 13-15)
