A Christmas dinner… in the streets, for the people of the streets
A buffet of special dishes, as well as presentations and songs, made up the dinner offered to the needy population of the city of Olinda, Brazil. The Schoenstatt Family, through the Mother Queen of Mercy Project, organized a special celebration for their brothers and sisters who are homeless. The diners were delighted by the special richness of the encounter.

Rio de Janeiro: A large crowd celebrates the Shrine’s 25th Anniversary
An endless number of faithful gathered for several days near the Shrine of Rio de Janeiro to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its blessing. Among those present were bishops, a cardinal, civil authorities, and pilgrims from various dioceses even as far as 2,500 km away.
João Pozzobon and praying the Rosary
Slowly and organically, the servant of God João Luis Pozzobon kept increasing his daily prayers. He eventually prayed 15 rosaries a day. He did this while walking with the Pilgrim Mother and also while doing his household chores. For example, he would put marks on the handle of his hoe to pray while weeding. According to him, when you love someone very much, you usually repeat their name. And John tried to say it as many times as he could: Ave Maria….
