The Schoenstatt Family Institute invites couples from throughout the Family Work to a new edition of the Leading to Love seminar. The meeting is already a traditional event, but this year it brings something new. The seventh edition will take place through online meetings and with an in-person stage in Milwaukee, United States. The seminar is aimed at couples who have sealed their Covenant of Love, who are actively involved in the Family Work, and who speak or understand Spanish.
“Leading to Love” aims to be a concrete contribution of the Schoenstatt Family Work to the strengthening of marriage and the family and its projection to the world, in the context of a Church called to deliver a message of hope and joy, based on the testimony of marriages solidly founded on love and faith.
This seminar has already been held six times in Schoenstatt, Germany. It has been highly valued by those who have attended, who have been able to experience days of profound renewal of their Covenant of Love, their vocation to marriage and family life, and their awareness of mission, as well as the paternal and prophetic leadership of our Father and Founder in each of Schoenstatt’s holy places.

Virtual and face-to-face meetings
In future versions, the seminar will be divided into virtual and in-person sessions. First, there will be four virtual sessions, with the possibility of adding more if participants request it. Then the in-person sessions will take place, lasting three full days, in places where Father Joseph Kentenich has been and left significant marks, for example, Schoenstatt, Germany; Milwaukee, USA; Bellavista, Chile; Florencio Varela, Argentina; and Santa Maria, Brazil.
A novel aspect of the Seminar is the methodology used, which combines conceptual aspects with experiences, links to historical moments and places where our Father committed himself to the Schoenstatt Mission, and applies individual, couple, and community dynamics. In other words, it is not just a matter of listening to interesting topics, but of vitally assimilating the spirituality and pedagogy of our leader, Father and Founder.
Participants come from different countries, which ensures a rich international exchange. The minimum number of couples per session for the Seminar to take place is 10, and the maximum is 15.
