Fr. Alexandre Awi Mello announced on behalf of the International Presidency of the Schoenstatt Movement that Sr. KATHIA MARTÍNEZ, from Paraguay, and Fr. FELIPE RÍOS, from Chile, are the new CONTINENTAL COORDINATORS OF THE AMERICAS, for a period of three years.

At the same time he thanks Sr. MARÍA AUXILIADORA BOHÓRQUEZ, from Ecuador, and Fr. JOSÉ LUIS CORREA, from Chile, for their valuable contribution to Schoenstatt in the Americas, as continental coordinators in recent years.

Fr Alexandre adds that the Continental Coordination works in dependence and in collaboration with the International Coordination of the Movement, which is in charge of Sr. M. Cacilda Becker, from Brazil, and Fr. Arkadiusz Sosna, from Poland.

Sister M. Kathia is the Superior of the Schoenstatt Sisters’ in Paraguay and representative of the Sisters to the Movement in that country. She works with the Family Branch, the Mothers’ Federation and the Professional Women’s Branch.

Fr. Felipe is the National Director of the Movement in Ecuador and Moderator of the Family League of Guayas, in the same country.
