New General Council of the Ladies of Schoenstatt elected at the General Congress

The Secular Institute Our Lady of Schoenstatt elected a new Council for the community at the General Congress, which has been meeting at Haus Regina in Schoenstatt since July 27, 2025.
The following were elected:
General Superior: Maria Fischer, Germany
Priestly Director: Father José Melo, Portugal
General Course Mother: Jutta Klein, Germany
General Councilors: Myriam de Soto, Spain Guadalupe Martino, Argentina Carla Riechel, Germany

The new general council will be responsible for guiding and leading the community for the next six years.
In a message, the representatives gathered at the General Congress write: “We thank everyone in the Schoenstatt Movement who accompanies our General Congress with their prayers.”
