A Mother House
The Mother House of Tuparenda is a socio-educational program of social reinsertion and personal development of youth and adolescents, inspired by the spirituality of the Schoenstatt Apostolic Movement and the pedagogy of Father Joseph Kentenich. It is carried out by Fundaprova, in conjunction with the Ministry of Justice of Paraguay.
FUNDAPROVA emerged in the heart of the Schoenstatt Apostolic Movement in Paraguay. It has the advice and supervision of the Schoenstatt Fathers, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and the support of many institutions, companies, and individuals.
The program is directed to young men who have been deprived of their liberty in an “Educational Centre” under the Ministry of Justice of Paraguay, without distinction of religion or background, and who are willing to participate and are motivated to make personal changes.
The main objective is the rehabilitation and professional development of the participants and their reintegration.to its family and their social, educational and professional life.
It is centered on the strengthening of the individual and his environment. Through the development of significant bonds, it generates a space in which each one can discover himself, value himself and recover or develop confidence in himself, in others and in his environment.
Each participant starts with their own personalized program when they are admitted to the WCL. It is a morning program, from Monday to Friday, with an established schedule, which includes breakfast, lunch and a snack. It does not include lodging; it already seeks to cultivate family and social ties in order to achieve a more effective social rehabilitation.
The participants have school, legal, medical, psychological and addiction control follow-up. The training routine includes social and work skills.
Each participant is awarded a monthly scholarship, the amount of which, to be withdrawn in its entirety, depends on the fulfillment of goals, attendance and schedule.
The participants also receive a preparation for the world of work, insertion into it,and at the end of the program there is a subsequent follow-up.
The benefits for the participants are: addiction control, legal assistance, psychological assistance, family and social assistance, development of social skills, school follow-up, medical and dental care and economic scholarship.
The trades taught include: bakery, horticulture and textile making.
They have optional activities, which are: guitar classes, sports and spiritual formation.
The structure is made up of: President (José Martín Massolo), Vice President (Mirta Contini de Etchegaray), Member (Father Pedro Kühlcke), Secretary of Acts (María Cristina Semidei), Treasurer (Gisela Carrizosa) and Auditor (José Domingo Marín).
