La Nazarena Project

“La Nazarena” is a project born of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary in Florencio Varela, Argentina. It takes place at the shadow of the National Shrine of this country.

The Schoenstatt Sisters used to receive the persons in the Father house and the project initially started there. The need of the people grew and so the center had to expand in march 2018.

Its mission is to contain, educate and encourage those most in need to be protagonists in changing their lives in covenant with Mary. It has three main focuses: education, work and health.

It seeks to promote the dignity of each woman and her family, through tools, inputs and knowledge that allow them to achieve their integral development and not to fall into the assistencialism by means of strategic alliances and bridges.

The members of the project are a general director, a coordinator and professionals and volunteers who accompany permanently.

It accompanies and helps 80 families, 186 young people and adults learning a trade, 50 adults enrolled in secondary school and scholarships given for University and high school.

Also, for the children there are classes of school support, sports, gardening workshops, art, orchestra and spiritual formation.

The Sisters help also many mothers to prepare themselves to seal the Covenant of Love with Mary.
