International Community of Schoenstatt Entrepreneurs and Executives

The International Community of Schoenstatt Entrepreneurs and Executives (CIEES) is a network that seeks to promote the pedagogy and spirituality of Father Joseph Kentenich in the world of work and business.

The project is present in Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, United States, México, Perú and Paraguay.

Its mission is to develop and coordinate leaders who inspire and evangelize by their example, promoting and applying the pedagogy and spirituality of Father Joseph Kentenich in the world of work and to the professional vocations of each one.

It wants to work and unite its efforts with all Catholics, believers and non-believers, who fight for a just and fraternal society, who watch over the dignity of man in the world of work.

They have international congresses where the charism of the community is expressed to people who may or may not belong to the movement. It was born as an initiative in Chile, in 2009 and the first International Congress was held in 2011, in Ecuador.

The structure is made up of: The President (Francisco Contardo, Chile). General Director (Bernardo Borja, Ecuador), General Secretary (Selene Chávez,  Mexico), a director of Communities (Jéssica Salas, Costa Rica), a director of Formation (Antonio Rueda, Ecuador), a director of Communications (Mauricio Domínguez, Paraguay), a director of Spirituality (Nelly Díaz, Paraguay) and a director of Finances (Ernesto Amador, Ecuador).

The Congresses held thereafter were: Costa Rica, 2013; Peru, 2014; Mexico, 2015; Peru 2017 and Paraguay 2019, Chile 2021 and Ecuador 2023.

The company must always emphasize its purpose and if it is not clear, then needs to redefine it. This is the main motivation and even the most efficient and productive, because by capturing the whole person, it develops its maximum potential.
