The Couple’s Coffee Journey: Schoenstatt Italy
The Couple’s Café is an initiative aimed at married and engaged couples, offering them a journey of growth and relationship strengthening. It is also an opportunity for dialogue with other participating couples, in a relaxed setting designed to encourage meaningful conversation between partners on various topics.
The Couple’s Café is a project created by several families from the Federation of Families of the Schoenstatt Apostolic Movement. It consists of five meetings, each lasting about two hours, featuring themes inspired by Schoenstatt’s pedagogy and derived from the initials of the word CAFFÈ: Condivisione (Sharing), Alleanza (Covenant), Fedeltà (Loyalty), Fecondità (Fruitfulness), and Educazione (Education).
This happens in an atmosphere of respect, cordiality, and spirituality, where very important everyday subjects are addressed. This experience allows us to deeply reflect on our lives as individuals, and as a couple, in order to bring into the foreground what oppresses us and does not let us grow. Above all, this meeting allows us to engage in dialogue and to find together the ways to build a stronger marriage and to face, united, the challenges of the past and the present, guided by the hand of Mary, whom we lovingly call our beloved “Blessed Mother”.
At the end of this workshop (Strengthen your Marriage), the couples have the opportunity, if they wish, to become members of the Schoenstatt community and form “life” groups, active groups that allow the couple to grow in their faith.
